HiBAR Shampoo and Conditioner Bars
What is HiBAR?
HiBAR was founded by four friends who wanted to limit plastic use. They were inspired by the shorelines of the North Shore of Lake Superior, designing their cruelty-free shampoo and conditioner bars like rocks. The bars are sulfate-, phthalate-, silicone-, and paraben-free.

REVIEW
For reference, I have chemically straightened hair that has six inches of natural hair root growth (combination 3b and 3c curls). My hair goes up to my waist with medium thickness.
Numbers of Washes: 65 each
Scent: fresh citrus, almost like Sprite
Space: minimal storage space, convenient for traveling (no need to meet TSA’s requirement)
SHAMPOO
The shampoo lathers and foams very well. My scalp and hair feel clean without my strands feeling very dry.
CONDITIONER
It took me probably four washes to find the most efficient way to later the bar on my hair. Since it’s a conditioner bar, it slips more easily from my hand. For me, what works is holding my hair with one hand while the other grabs the bar. I then scrub the bar on my hair especially the ends. This conditioner makes my hair feel very soft.

This was an increase of 4.3 million tons From 2010 to 2018, there was an increase of 4.3 million tons that came from durable goods and the containers and packaging categories.
More and more companies are now coming up of sustainable products to eliminate single-use plastic from personal care bars to zero-waste laundry detergent sheets and silicone/metal straws. It is our duty as the caretaker of the world to practice responsible consumption.
