Just when you think you’ve figured the book out, it throws a bunch of twists and turns to the story! It’s gripping and spine-tingling. The main character Jane is a foster child and kleptomaniac who moves to a town far from her last home to start a new life. She becomes a dog-walker for the rich people and that’s where she met the man she falls in love with: Eddie, a widower with a mysterious past. A year prior to them meeting, his wife Bea and her best friend Blanche went to their lake house and used the boat to bond. They both went missing. One of them was found with a fractured skull. Who killed Blanche? Where’s Bea?

After a couple of dates, Jane and Eddie becomes a couple and Jane slowly starts to be like one of the wives in the neighborhood, joining the Neighborhood Beautification Committee and other gatherings. She’s always thought that something seems odd with Eddie— something that scares her.

I will leave the rest to the readers. The book is crazy, beautifully written, and difficult to put down. I enjoyed reading this book!
