The Cul-de-Sac War

This is a lighthearted, fun, entertaining, and humorous read. Bree, an actress playing a fairy with only one line in the play meets Chip, a struggling contractor who just bought the house next door in their cul-de-sac. They have such a fun meet-cute at the beginning but slowly, they start to despise each other. The banter between them is cute and funny. It’s adorable how Chip’s dog is so attached to Bree, to her dislike. There aren’t a lot of romantic scenes in the book but the few of them worked well and made me smile. Definitely an easy and refreshing read that will go perfectly with a tall glass of iced tea.
