This is such a cute and sweet read. Mary Margaret, a widow who’s trying to pay off her late husband’s endless debts, is a kindergarten teacher who is also a burlesque dancer. Mayor Kevin is a divorced father of a 5-yr old whose teacher is Mary Margaret. The two of them have a lot of relationship issues and they found their way towards each other. I understand how Kevin needed someone with a clean character for a partner but also, Mary Margaret enjoys being a dancer and I don’t think he should have been that harsh to her. Their relationship on the first half of the book didn’t really develop much but then after that, it was like a whirlwind of romance. I also enjoyed the Widow’s Club. There are a lot of secondary characters in this book with unique stories and I can’t wait to read about them in the upcoming books in this series. It’s a unique and sweet Christmas story.
