This book is definitely cute and steamy. It was a bit difficult for me to finish the first quarter of the book because there weren’t many dialogues. The steamy parts started on the latter half of the book and boy, they were indeed sultry. The story about the sweet and poised Princess of Eldovia Marie and the New York cab driver Leo was one of those cute-but-can’t-be-married-to-a-royalty ones but of course, love and lust defy all. Both Marie and Leo have lost loved ones that helped them connect with each other. Marie got attached to Leo and his younger sister Gabby when she spent some time with them in New York and invited them both to stay in Eldovia for the holidays. There, both Leo and Gabby met Marie’s father The King of Eldovia. Marie was arranged to be married to a duke but she developed feelings for Leo, and he also did in return. I enjoyed reading the book but I wished there were more dialogues. Every Christmas Eve, the palace has a tradition of throwing a Hot Cocoa Ball that’s why I thought that it’s just fitting for me to drink hot cocoa while reading this book. There were a few grammatical errors that were easy to spot. All in all, I definitely enjoyed the latter half of the book.
